About Us

Our Academic, Vocational, and Functional Life Skills students and teachers have worked hard over the years to create real-life vocational experiences on campus. What started out as Grub Grill, has grown and flourished into what we now call, Farmers Trading Post & Café. Through our trading post, students are able to work on employablity skills including but not limited to; inventory, stocking, purchasing, packaging, cashier, communication, shipping, delivery skills, and bagging. Our café allows students the opportunity to work on food preperation, serving, waiting, greeting, and bussing skills. Farmers Trading Post & Café also provide students more opportunities to interact with their peers and further develop their social and communication skills. Through our trading post, we hope to help our students acquire the skills necessary to find gainful employment within their communities. This is a great endeavor and one we are all extrememly excited about. Thank you Lewisville High School, LISD, and our community for always supporting our students and all their hard work.
